This gourmet grilled cheese sandwich is very easy to make and good on a cool Fall day. Can be made for a football party by cutting into bite size pieces and holding it together with a toothpick.Or pair it with a cup of Roasted Red Pepper Soup.

MustKetch Zesty Salad Dressing

IMG_2797

In the warmer months of Summer, I like to eat salad almost every day.  Jackie Saland made this delicious salad dressing recipe with Somers Family MustKetch Zesty. This is the easiest homemade salad dressing I have ever made, that is healthy and incorporates a little pizzaz and zing.

It can be used on a simple leaf lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad or if you are more adventurous you can add in more vegetables, beans, cheese or meat.

Ingredients

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons of MustKetch Zesty

Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

In a small bowl (or mason jar), mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, MustKetch Zesty, salt and pepper. Stir or shake (if using a mason jar) vigorously and add to your salad of choice.

Serving number depends on how much dressing you like on your salad.

MustKetch Zesty Burger

Who doesn’t love a good burger? I am always looking for new ways to flavor my homemade grilled burgers and found MustKetch Zesty to be a delicious ingredient to add a little zing.

I prefer to make my burgers from scratch instead of pre-made pub burgers that you can purchase in many grocery store meat departments. The recipe is pretty simple and trust me, once you have tasted it, there is no going to back to a plain burger again.

To start, put 1lb of ground round in a mixing bowl and break the meat apart. Add in the spices and MustKetch Zesty. Mix together with fingers and then separate into four sections.

Mold each section into a patty.

Use non-stick spray on your grill grate prior to lighting your grill.  For a gas grill (if you don’t have a grill you can pan fry on medium with a cover), cook on a medium temperature with cover closed until desired temperature (rare, medium rare, medium, well done).

When burger is at your desired temperature, place cheese on top of each burger for one minute or until it is melted. Remove burgers from grill and place on hamburger buns.

Dressing the Burger

Add 1.5 tbs of MustKetch Zesty on top of the burger, then add sliced avocado (1/4 of a small avocado), and finish with a drizzle of Sriracha Sauce.  (I try to eat low carb so photo is minus the bun and cheese).

Serve with your favorite chips, fries, pasta or potato salad!
