MustKetch Elote

Elote is a classic way to enjoy corn on the cob. Elote corn is Mexican street corn roasted over an open grill and coated with salt, chile powder, butter, cotija, lime juice, and mayonnaise or crema fresca.

We have taken the coating one step further and have added MustKetch Smoke to the mayonnaise coating to make it extra craveable.

While the corn should be grilled, you can also boil it and add the toppings.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Corn on the cob, cut in halfimage (7)
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Cilantro
  • ¼ Cup Cotija Cheese
  • 1 Lime Wedge

Mustketch Mayo

  • 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ Tablespoon MustKetch Smoke
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Lime Juice

Garnish

MustKetch Smoke as needed

 

Directions

  1. Take the 3 half’s of corn on the cob and grill them over a pre-heated grill, roll the corn periodically until all the kernel’s are nicely charred.
  2. In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together for MustKetch mayo together.
  3. Using an offset spatula, spread the MustKetch mayo around the diameter of each corn half.
  4. Roll the corn on the cob in cotija cheese, garnish with minced cilantro and a lime wedge before serving.
  5. Drizzle with MustKetch Smoke before serving

MustKetch Mac and Cheese

Kids love mac and cheese and what better way to dress up this favorite than to add MustKetch.  This original recipe is similar to the standard homemade mac and cheese, but with added flavor of MustKetch Original. Easy to make and a craveable taste that is sure to have your kids asking for more.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cavatappi pastaeb7a1ae0461385f6
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of MustKetch Original
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • MustKetch Original drizzled
  • Chopped chives

 

Directions

  1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil and add pasta. Cook using directions on pasta. When done, drain and reserve.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium pot on medium heat and add the flour, whisk together to form a paste.
  3. Add the milk, whisking to break up any flour lumps and bring the mixture to a simmer
  4. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Add salt, pepper, and MustKetch Original
  5. Combine the sauce and the pasta and stir until coated. Plate and garnish with additional MustKetch Original and chopped chives.

MustKetch Nachos

Nachos are a great as an appetizer, for a party, at a tailgate or simply for lunch or dinner. What better way to add a little spice to your nachos than to add MustKetch Zesty. This gourmet nacho recipe is sure to tickle the taste buds of your family and friends.

There are two parts to this recipe. First make the black bean and corn salsa that goes on top of the nachos once they come out of the oven and you are ready to serve them.

Black Bean & Corn Salsa

Ingredients

¼ Cup Canned Black Beans

¼ Cup White Onion, Small Diced

¼ Cup fresh Roma Tomatoes, Small Diced

½ Tablespoon Cilantro, Minced

1 Teaspoon fresh Lime Juice

1 Teaspoon Mustketch Zesty

Directions

  • combine all ingredients in a medium size mixing bowl with a rubber spatula, mix well.

 

Nachos

Ingredients

2 ounces Tortilla Chips

1 ½ Cups Shredded Chihuahua Cheese

1 Tablespoon Cotija Cheese

¼ Cup Pickled sliced Jalapenos

1 Tablespoon Mustketch Zesty

½ Tablespoon Sour Cream

½ Tablespoon diced Scallions

Directions

  • Pre-Heat a oven to 375 degrees.
  • On an oven safe plate layer tortilla chips and shredded chihuahua cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 7 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
  • Garnish the cheesy tortilla chips with the black bean salsa, a dollop of sour cream, scallions, and drizzle with Mustketch Zesty before serving.

MustKetch Original Cocktail Sauce

Shrimp Cocktail is a favorite of many, especially as an appetizer when hosting a dinner party. While the Shrimp is the main ingredient, the cocktail sauce is what compliments the dish.

Have you ever made your own cocktail sauce? If not, you have to try this great recipe made with Somers Family MustKetch Original. It is very easy to make and much more flavorful than your average cocktail sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb of fresh cooked and peeled large shrimp
1 cup MustKetch Original
4 teaspoons of horseradish
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
Directions
1. If using uncooked shrimp, boil shrimp in a large pot until they are pink.
2. Let shrimp cool and peel off shell.
3. Mix MustKetch Original, horseradish and lemon juice in a small bowl.
4. Plate shrimp on a serving plate along with the cocktail sauce in a small bowl.

MustKetch Zesty Deviled Eggs

If you love deviled eggs, this recipe is a must try! Deviled eggs are a favorite among many and this recipe adds a little zest that everyone will love. Plus MustKetch is a clean label product so these eggs are also very healthy to eat.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (preference Hellman’s Lite)
  • 2 tbsp MustKetch Zesty
  • 1/8 tsp curry powder (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika

 

Directions

  1. Boil eggs until the yolk is hard (5-7 minutes).
  2. Let eggs cool and then peel off the shell.
  3. Cut eggs in half and remove the yolk into a bowl/
  4. In bowl with eggs, mix mayonnaise, MustKetch Zesty, curry powder, salt and pepper to a smooth consistency.
  5. Put egg mixture into a small baggie, cut open the corner and squeeze mixture evenly into egg white halves.
  6. Sprinkle a small amount of paprika on top of each egg.

MustKetch Skinny Slow Cooker Corn Dip

I always love finding delicious recipes that taste good using lower-fat ingredients. This MustKetch Skinny Slow Cooker Corn Dip was created by Beth Somers of Somers Family MustKetch. It is very easy to make, and just as delicious as the regular full-fat version. Great as an appetizer or bbq side dish!

Ingredients

8 oz fat free or light cream cheese, cubed

1 can tomatoes with chiles (10.5oz)

1 can corn (14-15 oz)

1/4 cup Smoke MustKetch

1 clove garlic

Optional

– Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper

Instructions

You will need a 1-2 quart slow cooker

  1. Fully drain and discard the can of corn
  2. Partially drain and discard the can of tomatoes
  3. Pour the corn and tomatoes into the slow cooker
  4. Add the cubes of cream cheese
  5. Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hrs with occasional stirring, until cream cheese has melted
  6. Serve warm with your favorite veggies or corn chips for dipping!
